Quick Heal Mobile Scan

Quick Heal provides a convenient feature that lets you scan your mobile device directly from your computer. This easy and quick process helps extend your security beyond your computer, ensuring your mobile device is also protected against potential threats.

With this feature, you can manage and safeguard both your computer and mobile devices from a single place, giving you added peace of mind and comprehensive protection.

With Mobile Scan, you can scan supported Android, iOS, and Windows mobile phones using your computer.

Before you start:

  • Windows Mobile Device Center must be installed for Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, and Windows 11 OS.
  • Install PCSuite and the required device driver on your computer. (For example, Kies for Samsung device) After your mobile connects through PCSuite, close PCSuite.
  • For Android devices:
    • Connect the device using a USB cable.
    • Turn on Developer Mode, USB Debugging, and Stay awake.
    • Set the USB connection to File Transfer mode.
  • If your mobile is not detected or the scan does not start, recheck the above Android settings.
  • For iPhones, ensure iTunes is installed on your system.

Following is the step-by-step guide to scan mobile from your PC.

  1. Open the Quick Heal console.
  2. In the left pane, go to Protection > All Scans > Other Scans > Mobile Scan.
  3. Connect your mobile phone to the computer using a USB cable.
  4. Click Run. Quick Heal searches for the connected device.
  5. Select your mobile from the list and click Start Scan.

The scan begins and checks your mobile for potential threats. You can view the scan report in the Reports menu
