How to create RDM account?

 Before you create an account with the Quick Heal RDM portal, you must activate the Fonetastic application on the mobile device. You can create and activate the RDM account using two ways: Creating and activating through Dashboard card and creating and activating via Fonetastic app Settings.

  To create and activate the RDM account via Dashboard card, follow these steps:


  1.  After your device is successfully registered with the app, a card to activate the RDM account is displayed after the registration. If you skip activating your RDM account at this stage, this card is displayed again after one week.
  2. Tap Sign Up to create your RDM account. You will be navigated to the RDM portal to create your account.
  3. If you already have RDM account, you need to sign in to the RDM account. Else tap Sign Up on the top left of the RDM portal to create your account.
  4. Fill the required details and create your RDM account.
  5. After your RDM account is created, an email to activate the account is sent to the registered email id.
  6. Open the registered email, and then click the Activate button or copy the given link in the browser address bar.
  7. You are redirected to the Set Password page of the Quick Heal RDM portal.
  8. Set your password, and then click Save.
  9. You have successfully created an account with the Quick Heal RDM portal. Now, you can manage the device through the Quick Heal RDM portal.


Creating and activating RDM via App Settings


To create and activate the RDM account via Settings, follow these steps:
  1. Open Fonetastic.
  2. Tap the arrow given at the bottom of the Home screen. Dashboard is displayed.
  3. Tap Settings, and then go to App settings.
  4. The Manage Through Web option is enabled by default. Tap Create Web Account to create the RDM account. You will be navigated to the RDM portal to create your account.
  5. If you already have RDM account, you need to sign in to the RDM account. Else tap Sign Up on the top left of the RDM portal to create your account.
  6. Fill the required details and create your RDM account.
  7. After your RDM account is created, an email to activate the account is sent to the registered email id.
  8. Open the registered email, and then click the Activate button or copy the given link in the browser address bar.
  9. You are redirected to the Set Password page of the Quick Heal RDM portal.
  10. Set your password, and then click Save.
You have successfully created an account with the Quick Heal RDM portal. Now, you can manage the device through the Quick Heal RDM portal.
I use multiple mobile devices. I want to control them from a single platform. Is it possible with Fonetastic?
Yes, if you own multiple mobile devices and want to ensure that adequate security settings are applied on all of them, you can make use of the Quick Heal Remote Device Management (RDM) portal. Quick Heal RDM is a cloud-based portal and allows you to control and manage multiple devices remotely with a single account.

To avail this facility:

  1. Create a Quick Heal RDM account at https://mydevice.quickheal.com/rsvc/login 
  2. Add your devices to the Quick Heal RDM portal. 
How can I add Fonetastic Multi-Device to Quick Heal Remote Device Management?

Login to the Quick Heal Remote Device Management portal and click on ‘Add Device’ tab. Enter the Name of Device, ‘Fonetastic Multi-Device Product Key’ and Click on ‘Add Device’ button. Select the device which you want to add to Quick Heal Remote Device Management portal and click Add button. Enter OTP sent to the selected device and click OK.

Can I see license details of my all activated Fonetastic Multi-Device devices?
Yes, you can see the license details of all your devices from the License Summary page. Click Fonetastic Multi-Device Product key to view number of devices activated, Expiry Date, Activation Date, and Device Name, etc.
How can I remove Fonetastic Multi-Device devices from Quick Heal Remote Device Management account?
Go to License Summary screen and click Remove Product, which is displayed next to Fonetastic Multi-Device.
How can I activate Fonetastic Multi-Device product key on a new device in case my remaining license count is zero?

First, you need to deactivate one of the activated Fonetastic Multi-Device from Quick Heal Remote Device Management account by following these steps:

  1. Login to Quick Heal Remote Device Management account.
  2. Go to Device details screen of device, which you want to deactivate.
  3. Click Deactivate button. Then you need to uninstall the Quick Heal product from that device.
  4. After this, you can activate Quick Heal product to the new device and you will be able to add that device to Quick Heal Remote Device Management account.
Can I manage Fonetastic Multi-Devices from Quick Heal Remote Device Management account after expiry?
No, you have to renew the product to manage the devices.
What will be the expiry date of Fonetastic Multi-Devices product if the one of the product is activated after A few days?
The expiry date of all the products of Fonetastic Multi-Device with the same product key will be same.
Can I remove a single device of Fonetastic Multi-Device from the Quick Heal Remote Device Management account?
No, you cannot remove a single device of Fonetastic Multi-Device from the Quick Heal Remote Device Management account. Instead, you can remove entire Fonetastic Multi-Device from the Quick Heal Remote Device Management account.
Will the product be deactivated if I remove Fonetastic Multi-Device product from Quick Heal Remote Device Management?
No, removing Fonetastic Multi-Device product means product will be removed temporarily from the Quick Heal Remote Device Management account. The user will be able to add that product key to other Quick Heal Remote Device Management account.
How can I deactivate Fonetastic Multi-Device Product?

To deactivate, follow these steps:

  1. Visit Quick Heal RDM portal.
  2. Log on to the Quick Heal RDM portal. Dashboard is displayed.
  3. Click Device Details on the top left of the dashboard. The Device Details screen is displayed.
  4. Click the Deactivate option to deactivate the application from the device.
Where can I see the Advanced Anti-theft data if a command is sent from Quick Heal Remote Device Management?
Advanced antitheft data is sent to the email ID mentioned in the User details section of the application.
How can I switch between Fonetastic Multi-Device devices and other Quick Heal products added to Quick Heal Remote Device Management account?
By using 'All Device' drop down present in the Quick Heal Remote Device Management portal.
How can I renew my Fonetastic Multi-Devices product from Quick Heal Remote Device Management portal?

Following are the two ways to renew the license:

  • License summary page
  • From dashboard screen of the device (after expiry)
Can I manage my each of my Fonetastic Multi-Device devices with different Quick Heal Remote Device Management account?
No, you need to manage all the devices under one Fonetastic Multi-Devices product using one Quick Heal Remote Device Management account only.
