AV-TEST Product Review and Certification Report for May-June 2020 has recognized Quick Heal Total Security<\/a> as a Top product for Windows with an outstanding rating of 17.5\/18<\/strong> in its latest evaluation. View results.<\/a><\/p>\n

The AV-Test is an independent research institute for IT security from Germany that evaluates and rates antivirus software solutions, benchmarking them against various criteria. AV-TEST carries out several individual and comparative tests every year and performs extensive certification procedures in which IT security products are assessed and certified in accordance with high standards.<\/p>\n

They have conducted this evaluation on 22 home user security products<\/a> on three parameters i.e., \u2018protection\u2019, \u2018performance\u2019, and \u2018usability\u2019.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Quick Heal Total Security scored a perfect rating of 6\/6 for protection and performance, and a near-perfect score of 5.5\/6 for its usability.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The AV-TEST report highlights that Quick Heal Total Security demonstrated a 100% protection against 0-day malware attacks, inclusive of web and e-mail threats vis-\u00e0-vis an industry average of 98%.<\/p>\n

A 0-day attack is when an attacker exploits unknown security vulnerability before it gets fixed. Because there is not sufficient time to address the vulnerability before it gets exploited, it is called a zero-day threat<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It achieved a 100% success rate in the detection of malware when challenged by exposing it to several samples of prevalent malware. It also demonstrated zero false warnings while visiting websites and almost zero blockage of legitimate software as malware. Owing to the accurate and high standards of security demonstrated by Quick Heal Total Security, it got the \u2018Top Product\u2019 title from AV-TEST Institute.<\/p>\n
