It steals their login credentials such as user ID and passwords.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; color: #006bb2; font-weight: bold;\">How Does the Cridex Worm Steal Information?<\/span><br \/>\nThe worm compromises the HTML pages of the user\u2019s banking site and takes them to a fake site. A user who is unaware of all this, might give away their login information. Once the attacker has access to this data, they can connect to the actual bank site using the victim\u2019s IP address.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; color: #006bb2; font-weight: bold;\">How Does Cridex Spread?<\/span><br \/>\nThe Cridex worm spreads via infected removable drives like pen drives, external hard disks, etc.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; color: #006bb2; font-weight: bold;\">What can you do to Stay Safe Against such Malware?<br \/>\n<\/span> 1.
