It is deployed to steal confidential financial information like bank account numbers, net banking passwords, credit card numbers, personal identity details etc.<\/p>\n<p>Indian banks are specially getting targeted by such attacks. We came across a mail which is targeting SBI customers and carrying a zip file as an attachment.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.quickheal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/archive\/SBI-Phishing-Email-Spam_thumbCustom.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"441\" height=\"450\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The zip file contains a .html file, which upon execution displays a replica of SBI online banking page.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.quickheal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/archive\/SBI-Phishing-page-Spam_thumbCustom.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"288\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Once the user enters the information asked for in the form and clicks on &#8216;Submit&#8217;, all confidential information gets transferred to the attacker.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.quickheal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/archive\/SBI-Phishing-analy-Spam_thumbCustom.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"66\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The above image shows that this information gets transferred to the attacker at:<br \/>\nhttps:\/\/ desafiosyaccion.com \/blog\/sbicom .php<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.quickheal.com\/\">Quick Heal<\/a> detects such fraudulent attachments and protects its users from such scams.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Phishing is a common form of Internet scam.
