As can be seen from the mail, it asks the user to fill up the following form:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.quickheal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/archive\/SmallPDF.JPG\" alt=\"\" width=\"553\" height=\"562\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We have been seeing many such fake notification mails containing an attachment like &#8220;IRS document.zip&#8221;. After analysis we found that it is connecting to random IPs.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.quickheal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/archive\/reg.JPG\" alt=\"\" width=\"357\" height=\"119\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Later on, it downloads and installs other malware as well. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.quickheal.com\/\">Quick Heal<\/a> detects &#8220;IRS document.zip&#8221; as <strong>TrojanDownloader.Deliver.lj<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>We recommend that users do not respond to such emails.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Recently we received the following email: This is a fake &#8220;IRS Notification&#8221;.
