AVAR 2008 11th Conference Terms and Conditions
You are asked to read the following Terms and Conditions carefully before submitting the Registration Form.
1. Confirmation or a booking or any payment by you shall constitute acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2. Registration is not complete until payment has been received. (A printable form will be provided after submitting this form).
3. Those attending AVAR 2008 are eligible for special hotel rates at the TAJ Palace, New Delhi & ITC Maurya New Delhi for the duration of conference week 8th to 15th December 2008. See hotel info for details
4. Payment may be made by Bank Transfer, Visa, Mastercard, or American Express.
5. Each attendee must use a separate registration form.
6. After successful registration you will get an email from AVAR. A soft copy of receipt will be provided along with this mail.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
1. Cancellations will only be accepted if notified in writing (faxes and emails are acceptable) to AVAR.
2. Cancellations are deemed to be effective from the date upon which the notice is received by AVAR.
3. If you cancel the booking, the following charges (based on the total value of the confirmed booking exclusive of VAT) will be immediately due and payable by you:

EARLY BIRD DISCOUNTS:
Your registration must be paid in full before the early bird deadline in order to receive your seat at the discounted price.
SUBSTITUTION POLICY:
You shall be entitled to substitute another named individual as a delegate at any time, by notice to AVAR.

STUDENT REGISTRATION:
Proof of your academic standing will be required when you check in on-site. You have to fax a copy of valid student ID in order to enjoy the student price to the below fax number. Along with it you have to mail your details to avail special students discount. Failure to produce proof of your student status will result in a charge of the full on-site conference registration fees

GROUP DISCOUNT:
Requests for Group Registrations must be received by email to

Fax: +91-20-66025985. The discount will be based on the rate at the time that we receive your completed Group Registration form and list of delegates.
8 & above can avail this discount.
GENERAL POLICY:
1. AVAR reserves the right in its reasonable discretion to refuse admission to any delegate.
2. You shall comply with any regulations of AVAR and the Conference venue and any applicable statutory requirements on behalf of yourself, your agents, employees and guests.
3. You shall indemnify AVAR from and against all costs, charges, claims, expenses, demands and liabilities suffered or incurred by AVAR as a result of any action or omission by you or your agents, employees or guests (including in relation to any damage caused to the Conference venue and hotel or any property therein) and/or in connection with any breach by you of any of these terms and conditions.
4. AVAR shall not be liable for any losses, damages, expenses, costs, claims or liability suffered or incurred by you (including without limitation any consequential loss, loss of profit or indirect damages) other than personal injury or death caused by the negligence of AVAR.
5. AVAR shall not be liable for any cancellation of the Conference due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control including without limitation due to any act of God, industrial action, fire, flood, storm or tempest, disease, explosion, riot, civil commotion, earthquake, malicious damage, industrial action or act of terrorism.
6. AVAR reserves the right to amend the programme for the Conference. No purported variations or amendments to these terms and conditions shall be of any effect unless accepted in writing by AVAR.
7. No failure or delay by AVAR in exercising any of our rights under these terms and conditions shall be deemed to be a waiver of that right.
8. This agreement shall be governed by Indian law and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Indian courts.
